Pitch Detector


Our pitch detector works on the “client side.” That means we don’t record your voice or any other information about you.





Get started:





    

  1. Click START.
    2. 




  2. Click “allow” when asked about microphone access.
    3. 




  3. Sing a note! The note name will appear in a box and on the piano keyboard.
    4. 




  4. Sing loudly enough that the sound can be detected.
    5. 










Troubleshooting:





    

  • Check your microphone to make sure it is working properly.
    • 




  • If you have an external mic, make sure the USB is fully connected and the mic is turned on if it has an on/off switch.
    • 




  • Make sure your microphone is not muted.
    • 




  • Increase the volume of your singing so that sound can be detected.
    • 




  • Get closer to the mic when you sing.
    •
