Jeff Moore is the co-founder Peak Music Studios in Latham, New York where he teaches voice to students who are passionate about singing and the quest to discover their unique vocal style. Jeff had a speech impairment as a child, and singing was utilized to improve his speaking abilities. This prompted a life-long pursuit of music. He is devoted to discovering, performing, teaching, composing, and recording music. A specialist in voice and guitar pedagogy, he is skilled at teaching music to accommodate a variety of learning styles. Jeff holds certificates in Vocal Styles and Master Guitar from Berklee College of Music and is a Master Certified Voice Coach and Instructor. He has studied with voice teachers nationally and internationally and is an expert in voice science.
When Jeff's not not teaching, writing, or making music, you'll find him in the gym. And he's an early riser. By 7:30 am, he's already completed both a full workout in the gym AND his voice and guitar training routine. He is a horror movie enthusiast, and his favorite movie is Halloween.
Crystal Dea Moore is the co-founder of Peak Music Studios with her husband, Jeff. Crystal performed gospel in a small church in McFarland, California from the age of 4, and learned how singing can be a powerful force to connect people. In addition to being a vocalist, she plays bass and acoustic guitar, and writes music with Jeff in their upstate New York studio. She holds a certificate in Bass Studies from Berklee College of Music and has over 20 years of teaching experience. A musician and a licensed mental health professional, she specializes in strategies to help performers decrease their anxiety and increase their mindfulness to promote relaxed and joyful musical performances.
Crystal loves animals and has two dogs, a mouse, and a bird. And she plays a mean sleigh bell!
